The Montseny Natural Park covers an area of 30 120 hectares. In 1978 UNESCO declared it a biosphere reserve. It is easily accessible by train or bus. The Montseny Nature Park has a warm and temperate microclimate with an average temperature of 13°C, in July approx. 21.2°C and in January approx. 6.0°C.
The 460 hectare domain (optional extension) is a rustic piece of land consisting of agricultural, pasture and forest areas with plenty of water. Part of the roads are asphalted and another part is an unpaved road that runs through valleys and mountains. From some points you can see the sea. The altitude of the land is between 230 m. and 905 m.
The 11 farms are habitable and partially renovated, except for one that is in ruins. At the moment there are a total of 53 rooms, which can be doubled by renovation. Ideal to offer as rural tourism.
The sale of the domain would be the first step towards making this large park unique in Catalonia by offering all kinds of activities such as nature, sports, educational, recreational and above all leisure activities for all target groups.
The natural park of Montseny is managed by the Diputació de Barcelona and Gerona and it is possible that they will give some subsidy.
