The plot is located just outside the town of Agios Nikolaos in eastern Crete. It is a five minute drive from the center of Agios Nikolaos and the center of Elounda. The location of the plot is amphitheatrical on a hillside, with stunning views of Agios Nikolaos and the entire Mirabello bay.
The plot is located in an area where "town planning" is authorized and approved by the state authorities. We have already begun the process of urban planning with the acquisition of initial permits (feasibility study and environment, road links etc.). The architectural study is in process. The surface of the plot is 80,000 sq.m. today. After the completion of the urban planning, about 40% of the plot will proceed to the construction of roads and communal areas. 60% will remain for the construction of villas and houses.
This means that 48.000 sq.m. will be allowed to build 11.520 sq.m. buildings, as well as terraces as well as basements. This leads to 100 to 120 homes, depending on the architectural design. Time needed to complete the private city process: about 18 months.
