More about this domain
Nestled between forests and lavender fields, between the Mont Ventoux and the Monts de Vaucluse, on 15 hectares of land stands an old 17th century mansion that still enjoys nature as far as the eye can see. Not far from the village of Sault, in the heart of the Provence, this is one of those magical places of unspoilt nature.
Former summer residence of the Archbishops of Aix-en-Provence, it has been extended and restored over the years to become a horse relay and then a vast holiday home with a fully independent guest house. This building consists of several buildings and offers a large terrace with a dominant view and several relaxation areas in the shade of the chestnut and lime trees.
The largest part of 460 m² offers on one side a dining room that opens onto the beautiful and warm kitchen with terrace and pergola. On the other side there is a large lounge, a small lounge, and a reception room.
A wooden staircase leads to an independent apartment with master suite, dressing room, shower room and children's bedroom, lounge/kitchen with private access through beautiful bay windows overlooking the forest of pine trees and brooms.
The main staircase leads to two floors. On the first floor, two bedrooms each with its own bathroom. On the second floor a billiard room, two bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a reading room.
Very nice old stone slabs, terracotta tiles, parquet floors, beams... oil fired heating. Old stables, garages and barns.
The guest house, an older house that has been restored with a lot of charm, offers an independent entrance with its own outside area, a living room/dining room with fireplace opening onto the kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
A PROPERTY FOR NATURE LOVERS IN AN EXCEPTIONAL SETTING.
